The original Neutra VDL Research House, a living laboratory for architect Richard Neutra’s theories on residential design, was built for $8,000 (including the site!) in 1932; it burned down in 1963 and two years later his son oversaw the rebuilding of an updated version.

The “Ensuring Access to Medicaid Services” final rule, finalized today, will help improve access to home care services as well as improve the quality caregiving jobs through its new provisions for home care. Specifically, the rule will ensure adequate compensation for home care workers by requiring that at least 80 percent of Medicaid payments for home care services go to workers’ wages. This policy would also allow states to take into account the unique experiences that small home care providers and providers in rural areas face while ensuring their employees receive their fair share of Medicaid payments and continued training as well as the delivery of quality care. Higher wages will likely reduce turnover, leading to higher quality of care for older adults and people with disabilities across the nation, as studies have shown.

“Amsterdam Modern manages to stock the raddest ’60s and ’70s vintage pieces that make you take a second look at profiles you may have passed over in the past. I always manage to source a perfectly broken-in vintage leather sofa or lounge chair that oozes a relaxed cool charm.” —Natalie Myers. Despite its oversized fame, it's a modest-sized house, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls and a 300-degree-plus view of the city of Los Angeles. Designed by Pierre Koenig in 1959 from a concept developed by the house's owner Buck Stahl, it's also called Case Study House #22.

The society that runs it certainly wants us to think so—haunted house tours and a popular interactive play capitalize on the 1929 scandal in which the owner of the mansion, oil heir Ned Doheny, died in a mysterious murder-suicide with his boyhood friend and employee. Doheny’s father was mired in the Teacup Dome Scandal at the time, and the deaths meant that he was excused from testifying; rumors also abounded that Ned, who was married with children, was trying to cover up a same-sex affair. Either way, a tour of this 55-room Tudor estate is a good way to get a glimpse into the lives of LA’s historical 1%—costly slate clads the façade and walkways, the windows are leaded glass and guests were entertained in the bowling alley and two movie theaters. When the home was finished in 1929, it cost a reported $3M, making it the most expensive private home in the city at the time.

We love that this large space is packed full of interesting buys and is laid out like a flea market. Over seven million seniors and people with disabilities, alongside their families, rely on home and community-based services to provide for long-term care needs in their own homes and communities.

The voyeuristic aspect of Claude’s story is essential to its appeal, and one of the illicit pleasures of storytelling and moviemaking in general, but voyeurs are inevitably implicated in what they see. “I love going to his huge store on Highland because it is almost an Ali Baba’s cave with a wonderful and totally eclectic mix of furniture and accessories from many centuries. I don’t think that I have ever left without lots of photos of amazing things to show clients.” —Timothy Corrigan. Architect Richard Neutra's private residence in Silver Lake seemed radical at the time, a glass house with rooftop and balcony gardens. It housed his office and two families on a small 60 x 70-foot lot.

An NFL star nursing bum knees opens his house to a divorcée and her rambunctious kids, and later clashes with an arrogant physician after investing in a clinic. The casting of rapper LL Cool J as a sitcom lead replicated the rap-star-in-a-sitcom formula of producer Quincy Jones' 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' (which made Will Smith a star), but met with less success despite the format change and a transfer from NBC to UPN. Marion and his friend Carlton Banks discover that a boy is dating both Tiffany and Carlton's little sister, Ashley, at the same time, so they decide to teach the duplicitous guy a lesson in respect. After all, what is a red carpet but a photo op in better clothing?

The movie's title, In the House, clearly refers not only to the home of Rapha and his family that Claude is exploring but also to the famous "house of fiction" that Henry James wrote about in his 1908 preface to The Portrait of a Lady. "Are we not moreover – and let it pass this time as a happy hope! – pretty well all novelists now?" he asked. “This is a great source for unique, hip antiques, accessories, and furniture. Adam Blackman and David Cruz have great taste and always have special pieces that I covet.” —Timothy Corrigan.

They're so ordinary, so typical, so different from Claude's own broken family. Germain is grabbed by the mixture of affection and satire in Claude's paper, and particularly by the phrase "the singular smell of a middle-class woman" used by the 16-year-old schoolboy to describe the mother. He encourages Claude to chronicle their lives, to insinuate himself into Rapha's household as observer and catalyst. Steadily he becomes obsessed with the story of the family and the development of Claude's literary style and eggs him on.

Neutra was something of a control-freak as a designer—he made recommendations to his clients that included the ideal flowers to display, and would occasionally make unannounced visits to see how, exactly, people were living in his homes. This remodel retains Neutra’s clarity of vision and is still a stunner. Today, this glass-walled paragon of modern design overlooking the Silver Lake Reservoir is an active part of LA’s design community and home to occasional art installations. Each Saturday, students in Cal Poly Pomona’s architecture program lead half-hour tours.

You've seen this iconic mid-century house and its view countless times in films, advertisements, and magazines. It's one of my favorite places to go in LA and especially beautiful at twlight. You can also take a regularly scheduled tour of the Schindler-designed Mackey Apartments which are nearby. This house is in an area of the Silver Lake neighborhood called The Colony, where you'll find a number of Neutra designs on and around Neutra Place. You can see them from the outside by touring off Earl Street between Silver Lake Boulevard and Glendale Boulevard.

An only child living with his disabled father, Claude has spent the summer watching and fantasizing about the Artole house, where sweet, naïve Rapha lives with his loving middle-class parents, Rapha père (Denis Ménochet) and Esther (Emmanuelle Seigner). As many of us have done when we’ve glimpsed little domestic movies playing out in lighted window frames, he’s taken to imagining the lives going on inside the house and wants to discover more. Tonia and Maxwell come up with a get rich quick scheme - the "Butt Ball" - to help fund their sports clinic. All they need is a celebrity endorser to get the ball rolling. When Olympic Gold-Medalist Jackie Joyner-Kersee drops out, they turn to their partner, ex-pro football star Marion, to use his star power to step in and save the day.

This unusual house was designed for him by Arthur L. Haley in the Arts and Crafts style; it retains its original interiors and furnishings. The house is located at the crest of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Mulholland Drive and is open for guided tours by reservation only. The house is owned by the MAK Center, which also runs the Schindler House and you'll find details about the tours at the MAK Center website. From tract homes to Case Study Houses, Southern California has always been at the forefront of residential home design (even Ice Cube knows it). Whether you’re interested in local history, celebrity digs or plain old house porn, we’ve got a spot for you. So get off the beaten museum track and check out these landmark architectural homes, all within a few mile radius and (mostly) open to the public.

His career has mostly focused on hosting since then, and he has hosted shows such as Catch 21 and GSN Live. He is currently the host of Dancing With The Stars after winning its 19th season. Furthermore, Ribeiro has some directing credits under his belt. Jeffery Wood may have only been in the first few seasons of In the House, but his character, Austin Warren, was a beloved one. After leaving the show, his next big project was Sunset Beach, where he played Jimmy Harrison.

While we've seen glimpses of Season 6 cast member Andrea Denver in both Seasons 7 and 8 of Summer House, he's no longer around full time. The Italian model is busy with a successful career and some pretty fabulous world traveling, according to his Instagram activity. As Chance the Rapper once said, "Summer friends don't stay" and, as the cast of Grease added, "It turned colder, that's where it ends."

In 2017, he played the Warlock in the trailer for the popular game Destiny 2. A friend of Carl Radke (they'd even shared a house at Coachella), Amit Neuman joined Summer House as a full-time cast member in Season 2, transitioning to a guest role for Season 3 before leaving the series. Per his LinkedIn page, he currently works for a financial company, Willis Towers Watson, in New York. In the House was a popular sitcom in the 90s that warmed the hearts of many. Its five-season run was fairly successful and also featured a star-studded cast. Unleashing the comedic chops of LL Cool J to the world, the series enjoyed a pretty remarkable run.

Series Cast

While a reboot is unlikely, reruns have kept many households entertained. However, it’s always common to wonder what the cast of the series is up to today, especially since some of them have drastically reduced on screen. In the House cast list, including photos of the actors when available.

"In The House" Stars: Where Are They Now?

With a heart as big as his frame, Big Ben was the teddy bear you didn’t want to mess with, but always wanted in your corner. With her charm and style, she turned heads and stirred the pot at Marion’s crib, becoming an unforgettable face everyone looked forward to seeing when the credits rolled. And we, as the enraptured audience, are all the richer for it. “In the House” has, without a doubt, etched its mark firmly in the annals of modern TV.

Critics and audiences watched with bated breath as our in the house cast members, transformed to offer layered, gripping performances. Indeed, every episode left viewers examining the depth of the human psyche, much like what happens when one peeks into Zion National park weather — unpredictable yet mesmerizing. Casting off their comedic cloaks, some members embraced the grittier, pulse-racing world of drama.

“Dragon Season 15,” with its fire-breathing plot twists, saw our beloved stars in roles quite alien to their lighter roots. Their ability to meander through genres, proves their mettle as artists of considerable range. LL Cool J, our very own Marion Hill, leaped from the comfy cushion of “In the House” straight into the hustle of Hollywood. Diving into music, film, hosting—you name it, he’s mastered it. Former President Donald Trump’s first criminal trial will bring to a Manhattan courtroom a colorful cast of characters, from a porn star to a doorman and a former tabloid-publishing chief executive officer.

Where is Amit Neuman from Summer House now?

Since the end of In The House, he has guest-starred on various game shows and even hosted a few. He has been married to Simone Johnson since 1995 and they have four children together. These days, he is best known for his long-running role as Special Agent Sam Hanna in the NCIS franchise, which he finally retired this year after 14 years. An NFL star nursing bum knees opens his house to a divorcée and her rambunctious kids, and later clashes with an arrogant physician after investing in a clinic. In the House is an American sitcom starring LL Cool J, Debbie Allen, Maia Campbell, Jeffery Wood, Alfonso Ribeiro and Kim Wayans. The series aired for two seasons on NBC from April 1995 to May 1996 after which it was canceled due to low ratings.[1] UPN quickly picked up In the House[1] where it aired for an additional two seasons.

While he wasn't on our TV screens full-time for long, he still has a special relationship with the camera, working as a writer and director under his own company, Leoni Pictures. But there are also plenty of Summer House cast members we've seen leave since the show first premiered in January 2017. He was brought to life by the large and in charge Tony Longo.

Twenty-five Republicans voted against the fourth bill, which included measures that could lead to a ban on TikTok in the United States and that would redirect funds from seized Russian assets to help aid Ukraine. Democrats put up a big vote — 174 — in favor of this bill, which was intended to sweeten the overall package for conservatives. Below is a list of actors and actresses that are or were part of the cast of the American drama television series House. Playing Marion Hill, the ex-football player turned kiddo caretaker, LL Cool J brought the cool, muscle, and a dash of soft side that made folks swoon. Maia Campbell, who played Tiffany Warren, dipped out for a bit in the fourth season due to her real-life pregnancy. But like a boomerang, she swung back around for the fifth season to give us a little more of that Tiffany charm.

Ashley was another Season 1 on Summer House, although she did make a couple appearances during Season 2. In between the seasons, she and and her husband moved to California, making it a little tough to show up in the Hamptons every weekend. Stephen was part of the cast of Season 1 and Season 2 of Summer House. Still a friend of many cast members (including Danielle Olivera and the Wirkus twins), his Instagram bio says that he's currently an event planner. After breaking up with Season 7 friend Kory Keefer in January 2024, the founder of the Feher Agency turned to the "miserable" world of dating apps for a second — but she's currently single.

She got to spread her wings and soar off to bigger and, hopefully, better things. Years down the line, the kids have grown, and so have their résumés. The core members of the cast have since danced through life’s various stages, some sticking to their acting roots while others branching out into exciting new frontiers.

After the drama subsided, he founded an app called CapGenius, which helps Instagram users create funny photo captions, a project he works on alongside his career as a growth marketing consultant for a number of brands. As of now he's based in Colorado and, according to his personal Instagram bio, is "probably skiing" right now. Jordan's decision to stop being a full-time cast member came of his own accord when he left the Hamptons partway through Season 4. Though she was a fast fan favorite, Sam Feher was only on Summer House for one season (Season 7, to be specific) before departing to focus on her entrepreneurial career (she's also a journalist and content creator).

Maia Campbell has led a relatively private life in recent years. In 2000, she lost custody of her daughter due to her refusal to take medication for her bipolar disorder. The following years were also not too kind to her, as she was publicly recorded displaying unstable behavior.

As often occurs in this unforgiving biz, Wayans’s stint was truncated due to contract discrepancies, leaving a Tonia-shaped hole in fans’ hearts. If you are wondering, "Who are the actors from In the House?" or "Who starred on In the House?" then this list will help you answer those questions. Graff can also reveal how the Trump organization worked, Borger said, and even provide a glimpse into Trump's life and speak on the relationships between Trump and his children. "Sometimes he would peek his head in and say, 'Go home to your family,' which I thought was very thoughtful of him," Graff testifies. "He would vocalize" sometimes people Trump was interested in having as "Apprentice" contestants to members of his staff, she said.

Cruise Port Guides The Bahamas New Nassau Cruise Port Guide Cruise Travel Advisor

cruise ship port nassau bahamas

What started as baskets to carry fruit and other goods have turned into a local tourist attraction. Located on Bay Street in downtown Nassau, the straw market is a great place to learn about the industry that locals have been building since the early 1940s. Nassau is home to numerous bars and resorts geared for guests who want to stay a few days on vacation. These resorts have amenities such as all-inclusive food and drinks, private beaches, pools, and excellent customer service. The downtown area of Nassau is perfect for exploring the city’s history and culture. You’ll find cafes, restaurants, shops, art galleries, monuments, and other attractions here.

Enjoy Local Cuisine

You are immediately transported to the 18th century as you enter the museum. You’ll learn about infamous pirates like Edward Teach “Blackbeard,” who once pillaged ships in the Caribbean. Interactive exhibits, weapons, treasure, and other pirate-related artifacts and displays are on display. To add to the interest, a replica pirate ship brings the stories of notorious pirates to life. Fort Charlotte is a historic British colonial fort located on a hill overlooking the harbor. The imposing fortification is situated a 30-minute walk west of Nassau Cruise Port.

Adventure at Blue Lagoon Island

However, locals parade up and down the beach offering chairs for rent and beverages sale. A long walk down the beach will bring visitors to Atlantis, where they can pose for their prerequisite Instagram shot. The port is now able to accommodate up to six cruise ships per day, including three Oasis or Icon Class ships. This means that Nassau is now able to host 30,000 cruise passengers per day, increasing their capacity by 10,000.

Shopping at Nassau’s Straw Market

Whether it’s your first time on a cruise or your hundredth, questions can come up. If you’re not dive-certified, there are also courses offered by Stuart’s Cove. Popop Studios is another local studio that specializes in the field of preserving and advancing Bahamian art and culture. Whether you’re simply wanting to view the art or purchase some for yourself from the gift shop, the National Art Gallery of the Bahamas is a must-see on any trip to Nassau. Be sure to check the weather before heading into the water, though, because rip currents are common for this beach.

The Aquaventure Water Park offers a thrilling and fun-filled way to spend your cruise day in port in Nassau. Located on Paradise Island in the Atlantis Resort, Aquaventure has everything you could hope for from a water park. Swimming with pigs is one of the most unusual activities for a cruise day in Nassau. The 20 or so pigs reside on Rose Island and love the warm Caribbean waters as much as tourists do.

Nassau Cruise Port: Amenities, Location, What's Nearby and More

There are three long piers parallel to the shore with docking spots for up to 8 cruise ships (depending on the size). As shown on the map below, even the farthest docking spot is very close to downtown Nassau. However, if the cruise ship passenger has any sort of walking difficulties, the port provides shuttles that will take you to the Terminal Building - aka Festival Place. There are way too many locals offering taxi rides, tours, scooter rentals, jet-skiing, beach breaks, hair braiding ... And the new cruise terminal promises to become one the most appealing once the construction ends. Many products are necessarily imported and that means prices, including meals at restaurants, can be high.

You’ll encounter not only hundreds of Cownose stingrays but also tropical fish of many species. What started as a nature preserve created in the 1950s, Ardastra Gardens & Wildlife Conservation Center has blossomed into a thriving development. Thousands visit every year to experience the conservation center, tropical garden, and wildlife rescue and rehabilitation facility all rolled into one. Here, you’ll also find a statue of Queen Victoria and something for the entire family to enjoy.

Visit museums in Nassau to learn about its history

Nassau can experience higher humidity and tropical storms during the summer months, which is why Winter is typically the best time to visit Nassau, Bahamas. In this post, I share everything you need to know about Nassau, Bahamas, and the best things to do in Nassau cruise port. The Nassau Cruise Port project will see the redevelopment, revitalization and expansion of the cruise port on Prince George Wharf. Buses are difficult to navigate in Nassau, which is why we recommend getting a taxi at the airport. There is no dedicated bus stop at the airport, so you’ll have to walk to a nearby road.

These experiences range in price, but they generally cost $335 for adults and $285 for kids. Another option is to purchase the day pass directly through the Atlantis website. The admission price varies on what day you are going, and there is a good chance that you won’t save any money this way. If you get tired of the beach, you can walk to Clifton Heritage Park and enjoy a picnic lunch there. A cheaper alternative is taking the No. 10 bus, which costs $1.50 per person.

After a 30-minute boat ride to the island, you get to interact with the friendly and adorable pigs. It is worth disembarking at the cruise port in Nassau to experience authentic Bahamian culture. A new cruise ship terminal opened in Nassau in 2023, significantly improving the passenger experience.

You can book a snorkeling tour through the cruise line or a private vendor. When you visit the Heritage Museum of the Bahamas, you will have the choice of doing a self-guided tour or purchasing an audio guide for around $20. The Heritage Museum is a 12-minute walk from the cruise port, and it is near the National Art Gallery of the Bahamas. Breezes Resort & Spa is an all-inclusive that costs $125 for the day.

Some cruise ships will have an ATM that dispenses this currency, or you can do it once you arrive onshore. It’s good to note that not every cruise ship is going to have a conversion counter aboard. Atlantis isn’t actually found underwater, it’s located on Paradise Island.

And, of course, there are also well-known places to just hang out, enjoy live entertainment and a drink or two - places like Señor Frogs or Sharkeez. Truly Bahamian flavors like conch salad or fried fish are particularly delicious when tasted on Arawak Cay - aka Fish Fry, a bit over 2 miles west of Downtown. The onboard guide will offer all sorts of bargains, coupons and shopping deals but it is advisable to also look at many other shops that are not promoted by the cruise line. In fact, there more shops in Nassau than the ones recommended where the cruise traveler can get great deals. The famous Atlantis Resort is a must see with lots to do but, in Paradise Island (where Atlantis is located), the public Cabbage Beach is another highlight to be explored. The private islands (already mentioned) are secluded sites which must absolutely be experienced.

Cabbage Beach is a public beach which is located on the north side of Paradise Island. You can get to Cabbage Beach by taking a short water taxi ride to Paradise Island ($10 round-trip) or walking for around 20 minutes. Cruise ships arriving in Nassau, Bahamas, will dock at the Prince George Wharf. The cruise port is conveniently close to Bay Street and the downtown district. There are many shops, restaurants, and activities within walking distance of the cruise port.

Due to the small ship size river cruises book up early and quickly. It is highly recommended to book your river cruise well in advance. If you want to experience cruising the Mississippi River in a more "traditional" way (but with modern comforts), go for a steamboat; if you’d rather travel in something less traditional, opt for one of the modern cruise ships.

Disney Fantasy Cruise Ship: Complete Guide

fantasy disney cruise

Like on all Disney ships, Disney Fantasy staterooms are some of the industry's largest standard cabins, most of them designed to easily accommodate four passengers. Some of the best Disney cabins features are the ample closet space, the normal-sized living space and the split bathrooms (1 room with shower-bathtub-sink and a separate toilet and sink). Beds on Fantasy are raised to allow storing 2 medium-sized suitcases underneath, staterooms also got 2 vanities, a 22-inches smart HDTV, an iPod docking station and 2 rechargeable "Wave Phones" to be used ship-wide. Pamper yourself with spa treatments, salon services, and rejuvenation procedures at this restful retreat onboard Disney Fantasy. Some of the services offered at the spa include Swedish massages, aroma stone therapy, deep tissue massage, acupuncture, facials, teeth whitening, shampoo/cut/style, manicures, pedicures, and more. Even those who aren’t into spa treatments might still be interested in enjoying the Rainforest Room with its various themed shower settings.

Broadway-Style Shows in the Walt Disney Theatre

On 3-day Disney Fantasy cruises, one night is casual, 4-day sailings are with 2 casual evenings and on 5-day voyages 3 nights are casual. Perhaps you’re a regular exerciser, or maybe you just want to offset several days of all-you-can-eat meals. Either way, you can stay in shape with the offerings at the Disney Fantasy’s onboard fitness center. Whatever your preferred equipment — weight machines, cardio equipment, ellipticals, treadmills, and others — you’re likely to find it here. If you prefer a group experience you can join a yoga, Pilates, or aerobics class.

I enjoy a nice walk after dinner, so I appreciate that the Disney Fantasy offers an open-air covered walking/jogging track on Deck 4. I like that it’s low enough on the ship to offer some close-up ocean views — especially handy if you’re lucky enough to see wildlife such as dolphins playing alongside the ship. A leisurely stroll is perfectly fine, but jogging is also fair game here if you don’t want to miss your daily run while onboard. You might even recognize off-duty Crew Members getting a bit of exercise. Much of Deck 5 on the Disney Fantasy is dedicated to spaces especially designed for younger passengers (thanks in part to space saved by not having casinos onboard the ship). Here’s a preview of the kids clubs and other youth-friendly spaces onboard the ship.

DISNEY FANTASY CONCIERGE

The AquaDuck is the premier water attraction onboard the Disney Fantasy. This first-of-its kind (water coaster on a cruise ship) attraction takes its guests on a wild adventure high above the upper decks of the ship. There’s no need to purchase a separate drink package on a Disney Cruise, as most non-alcoholic drinks are included at no additional cost (a rarity in the cruise industry).

You’ll also enjoy beloved songs from the film as well as a new one written just for this production. You don’t have to pay extra to ride the AquaDuck, but you will have to wait in line (sorry, no FastPass, Lightning Lane, or Genie+ here). Lines tend to be longest on Sea Days and shorter when the ship is in port. You might have the best luck if you’re willing to ride while everyone’s ashore at Castaway Cay.

Riding earlier or later in the day can also help avoid crowds – just don’t forget to check the operating hours each day in the Navigator app. Inside staterooms are offered in standard and deluxe variants, with standard being the smaller of the two. The standard version is also the only regular stateroom category on the ship which does not feature a split bathroom configuration. A split bathroom has a toilet & sink in one section, with a shower & sink in the other; this provides the handy benefit of allowing two people to get ready at the same time. Inside Staterooms are the smallest Guest rooms on the ship, but are still larger than those found on some other cruise lines.

Verandah Staterooms on Disney Fantasy

Note that a few verandah category staterooms have solid metal partitions or are otherwise somewhat obstructed. As you arrive at the port and approach the Disney Fantasy, you might notice Dumbo and Timothy on the ship’s stern. Dumbo’s 7-foot ear span and 2,300 weight — contrasted against their apparent size compared to the rest of the ship — help drive home the true size of this amazing floating city.

For Guests outside the United States, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, DisneyBand+ will be available for purchase at select onboard merchandise locations (subject to availability). United States residents can visit Bands & More to select and purchase their bands. When you customize your DisneyBand+, you’ll be asked to provide a valid US shipping address. Previous versions of MagicBand are currently not supported on Disney Cruise Line ships. However, you can use MagicBand+ as a DisneyBand+ on your Disney cruise.

Decks and Cabins

fantasy disney cruise

At the risk of sounding cheesy, what's amazing about Disney cruises is that they bring magic to everyone onboard, from solo cruisers and adult couples to families, without shoving it down anyone's throat. There's a delightful balance of kid- and family-focused activities and adults-only pursuits that ensures the little ones and even the most kid-phobic of travelers will have a great time. The 1,800-square-foot AquaLab water play area on Deck 12 is filled with water pop jets, geysers, and bubblers, perfect to keep the whole family cool. Just as Disney does with all their attractions, there is a story as to how the AquaLab came to be. Huey, Dewey, and Louie, Donald Duck’s nephews, created the AquaLab, but it’s up to young cruisers to operate the AquaLab to keep the AquaDuck up and running for the other guests! At three different stations, there are wheels to turn and levers to pull, “controlling” the speed and temperature of the AquaDuck water coaster.

For the pirate nights, the Boutique becomes the Pirate’s League, offering such pirate garb as makeup, swords, earrings, and eye patches. A cancellation fee will be applied for no-shows or for failure to cancel 24 hours before the appointment. "Bibbiti Bobbiti Boutique" (the 1st at sea, similar to those at all Disney land parks where girls transform into princesses). The ship-Boutique is also transformed into a Pirates League (during the Caribbean Pirates-themed night party) where kids get transformed into pirates.

The Rejuvenation Spa offers an array of cosmetic body and facial treatments. The Disney Fantasy mainly sails out of Port Canaveral, FL on the popular seven-night Caribbean itineraries – alternating Eastern and Western – including a stop at Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay. The whole family is welcome to party the night away at the D Lounge. Music, games and live entertainment are just a few of the attractions you’ll find here.

There’s also an impressive set of mosaic walls, with roughly 194,500 tiny Venetian enamel tiles making up scenes inspired by Finding Nemo and the Great Barrier Reef. So come as you are (just cover up any swimsuits) and grab a quick meal at Cabanas. On certain cruises, there’s also a highly-demanded champagne brunch as well as a multi-course dessert experience. Royal Court may also serve an alternate breakfast or lunch service on some days. Your four-course royal feast includes French- and American-inspired options.

Entertainment aboard the Disney Fantasy is offered in unique settings, and all options are designed to fill your days at sea with memorable experiences. Guests can watch stage shows in the beautiful Walt Disney Theatre, first-run movies in the Buena Vista Theatre, and take part in character meet and greet across the ship. The moment you arrive at the Disney Fantasy you’ll know that you’re someplace extra special. Crew members will be in the stunning main atrium to welcome passengers by name.

Thanks to a little Disney magic, the view out the “window” changes to a different city every fifteen minutes. This spot is often overlooked due to its secluded location, so it’s a quiet retreat with compelling views (and a great wedding venue, too!). An adults-only retreat that focuses on specialty coffees and teas during the day, with cocktails in the evening.

Cool down with all-you-can eat soft-serve ice cream cones (included in the cost of your cruise!), or spend a bit extra to enjoy a specialty smoothie. Karaoke, trivia, game shows, and even dance parties can be found here on a daily basis. As to the food, those seeking traditional American Breakfast favorites won’t be disappointed here. You’ll find all the usual morning offerings — custom-made omelets, bacon & sausage, Mickey Waffles, hash browns, and so on. Because everything’s included, you can still pile on the Mickey Waffles alongside your more-adventurous choices.

We won't reveal too much of the secret sauce here, but check out my Animator's Palate tips here - make sure to read tips #43-46. Concierge Suites and Concierge Family Cabins (Deck 11-12) are new for the line, offering direct access to the ship's concierge facilities (1 small lounge, a private sun deck area with chairs, free food and drinks). Most of the 1-bedroom suites are with connecting doors (1 queen bed, a sitting area with a double convertible sofa, 1 pull-down bed in the living rooms, a walk-in closet, 2 bathrooms (one with a hot-tub).
